Nick has handled over 200 productions during the course of 20 years. Among those productions are THE CRADLE WILL ROCK (1993, The Villagers), OLYMPUS ON MY MIND (1994, The Villagers), DANCING AT LUGHNASA (March 1996, The Villagers), TOMMMY (August 1996, The Villagers), BLOOD BROTHERS (March 1997, The Villagers), BALM IN GILEAD (February 2000). Other productions, EVITA, COME BACK TO THE FIVE AND DIME, JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN!, EXTREMITIES, LIGHT UP THE SKY (twice) GREETINGS, and recently HAIR! to name just a few. He represented the Villagers Theater in the cooperative project with The Somerset County Cultural and Heritage production of THE HALL-MILLS TRIAL which offered him an opportunity to write and stage a sequel to his successful play THE FINAL WORD: THE HALL-MILLS MURDERS, for two seasons. THE FINAL WORD: THE HALL-MILLS MURDERS has toured through out New York and New Jersey and has been optioned (for a very long time) as a Movie of the Week and is currently being discussed by two film companies for feature treatment. Nick has written and directed numerous children's shows which have been performing in New Jersey at the Villagers through out the three seasons he worked there as the Managing Director, including eight premieres for children's theater during The Villagers Theatre's 40th Anniversary Season. Nick is a member of The Dramatists Guild and is the playwright of over 20 full length plays. His play LIZBETH OF MAPLECROFT performed in NYC at The Producer's Club in August of 2000 and was sited as "CRITIC'S PICK OF THE WEEK" by SHOW BUSINESS WEEKLY. He has also actively worked in the area of Casting having worked with such performers as Christine Baranski, Madonna, Rita Moreno, Kim Hunter, and the late Jessica Tandy. He has worked in the offices of Binder Casting, Maureen Fremont Casting and Alan Filderman which kept him active on the Broadway productions of JEROME ROBBINS-BROADWAY!, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, RUMORS, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, as well as, the off-Broadway production of THE SUM OF US. He also worked for regional theaters such as Asolo and Stage West. As a Casting Director Nick was responsible for the Off-Broadway production of INNER CITY which starred Darlene Love, with whom Nick has had the pleasure of working with on a number of occasions. Nick's new musical, an adaptation of the RA Dick's classic novel THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR, features music by Ben Cohn. Nick is a member of SSDC and The Dramatists Guild.
