Laura Ekstrand Biography

Laura is an actor, director, teacher and playwright. She is the Drama Director at Summit High School, and is a freelance acting and career coach. Previously, Laura has been a Film Casting Associate in the office of Haden/Barden/Smith, and the Managing Director of the Innisfree Festival of New Plays. As a playwright, her works have been produced in New York and New Jersey theatres, and her acting work has taken her from stage to film and televison. Laura has a B.A. in Theatre Studies from Yale University, and an M.F.A in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College. She is a member of Actors Equity Association.
