Gregory Arata Biography

A native of Maine, Mr. Arata has performed in such productions as Angels in America, Hamlet, The Real Thing, The Heidi Chronicles, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Lanford Wilson's Fifth of July. His musical productions include Hair, Godspell, Side by Side by Sondheim, and Into the Woods. A graduate of Bates College Mr. Arata also studied acting in London. He is currently editing a self produced and directed mockumentary about the modeling industry in the Midwest. A current resident of Brooklyn Heights, Mr. Arata spent time achieving fluency in French by working on a farm in Saissac, France. He enjoys old‑world ballparks and recharging his life battery on the rocky coast of Bar Harbor.
