“Surf's Up” at Teaneck New Theatre

SURF'S UP is a new musical comedy, which is a parody/tribute to the beach movies of the sixties. It's 1963 and this is a beach party!Barbara Ann, a seventeen-year-old misfit and high school valedictorian, becomes fascinated with surfing and convinces the king of the surf, Hotdog, to teach her how to surf in return; she agrees to sing in his band. As she learns, she manages to steal the heart of every guy on the beach with her sweet nature and natural charm not to mention the fact that she can really rock out.
