“There Goes The Bride” at Westfield Community Players

“There Goes The Bride”
by Ray Cooney & John Chapman

When harassed advertising executive Timothy Westerby hits his head on the morning of his daughter’s wedding, he awakes to find himself in the company of a 1920’s flapper from out of his current advertising campaign. As Timothy starts to live out his fantasy at the Savoy hotel in 1926, the carefully planned society wedding disintegrates into chaos. Family and friends frantically try to get Timothy back to the present and walk his daughter down the aisle before the future in-laws abandon the wedding entirely.
