The Chatham Community Players continues its 93rd Season of producing local theater with Neal Bell�s play, Spatter Pattern. This play will run from March 6 through March 21. Shannon Barry O�Grady from Morristown directs.
This psychological drama by Neal Bell takes place at the intersection of two haunted lives with nothing but a wall separating them. Tate is a college professor who is suspected of murdering a female student, and his new neighbor, Dunn is a writer in search of a story. Over the course of the play, the two men become close, but as the threat of the truth hangs between them, we try to figure out whether Tate is a murderer or whether he's been falsely accused. Director, Shannon Barry O�Grady shared, �Prepare to be propelled through a shadowy Gotham in this intense story with dark comedic accents. A tortured writer meets a professor accused of murder. The audience is plunged into intrigue and then left to ponder the nature of guilt and the meaning of responsibility.�
Featuring a talented and diverse group of actors from all around New Jersey. The cast includes Jody Ebert from Westfield as Marcus Tate, -Dale Monroe as Edward Dunn and Sky Spiegel Monroe as Selma/Ellen/Mrs Roth are both from Morristown, Monica Ross from New York City as Andrea Evens/Realtor, Gordon Wiener from Martinsville as Munoz/Moxley and Derek Egidio from Columbia as Mancheski/Mr Fisher. O'Grady notes, "I feel privileged to have found a terrific cast that works beautifully with my vision for this piece."
Rounding out O�Grady�s talented production team: Producer is Eileen Johnston, Stage Manager is Joelle Bochner, Scenic Designer by Bob Lukasik, Scenic Painting by Andrea Sickler, Costume Designer by Beverly Wand, Lighting Designer by Eric Holgerson and Sound Designer by Joe DeVico.

Performance dates are March 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 8pm and March 15 at 3pm. All performances are at the Chatham Playhouse, 23 North Passaic Avenue, in Chatham. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for youth/senior. Warning: Strong language and mature subject matter, not suitable for children.
