October 9, 2006: Pre-casting, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, and "School House Rock Live!"
This week's "Spotlight" group is the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This group has been providing quality theatre to Southern Michigan and Northeast Ohio for well over 75 years. We spend some time talking to Cassie Mann, the Program Director for the organizations, on a variety of topics.
Our discussion topic this week is "The Pros and Cons of Pre-casting".
Our "Show of the Week" this week comes from Vania Falen, a director with the Players Club of Swarthmore in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. Vania tells us about the exciting musical, "School House Rock Live!"
As always, we will tell you "What's New to Do" and plug our favorite podcasts.
