October 16, 2006: Contemporary vs. Classical, Theatre Jacksonville, and "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest"

This week's "Spotlight" group is Theatre Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. Theatre Jacksonville is in its 87th season of staging productions. We speak with Sarah Boone, the Executive Director and Staci Cobb, the Marketing Director of Theatre Jacksonville about the organization. They discuss their history, success, tough times, yearly Shakespeare show, and children's travelling show.

We also have pictures of Theatre Jacksonville at http://www.NeighborhoodStage.com/spotlight/TheatreJax

Our discussion topic this week is "Contemporary vs. Classical". Just what do we mean by that? Well...you will just have to listen.

Our "Show of the Week" this week comes from Shirley Sacks, the Guest Artistic Director of Theatre Jacksonville. Shirley tells us all about the play "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest". As always, we will tell you "What's New to Do" and plug our favorite podcasts.
