August 28, 2006: Character Development, Is What It Is Productions, "High School Musical", "Proof"
This is very busy week! First we will speak with Steve and John Butler, co-hosts of the "High School Musical" podcast, about the huge Disney television movie spectacular that will soon begin appearing on school stages near you. We will have highlights of our interview with Tom Leveen, from Is What It Is Productions, a community theatre group in Scottsdale, AZ. Tom will also tell us about "Proof", our "Show of the Week". Our topic for discussion this week is how to prepare and develop a character for the stage. Finally, we will talk about some recent news coming out of Music Theatre International, and let you know "What's New to Do".
