In the news this week we talk about the success of The Pajama Game, and the planned Roundabout production of 110 In The Shade. We preview David Hare's Stuff Happens at the Public, and Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands in the UK. We talk about a new Sondheim cd compiled from last year' Wall To Wall Sondheim, through Symphony Space. Finally, we give you the details of a Wendy Wasserstein memorial at Lincoln Center. As usual, we take a look at the week in theatre history and throw the spotlight on a non-traditional theatrical casting couch. Thanks to playbill.com for its help on these stories. We preview the week ahead onstage in New Jersey, courtesy of NJTheater.com. And we conlude by checking in at my theatre, the Country Gate Playhouse, as we prepare for our season opening on March 11, of our retrospective musical revue, The Music of Our Lives: Country Gate at 35.
