Only the bricked upper windows of the tall white building at 179 Broadway provide a clue that it was built during the Victorian era. A private individual has donated this 7,000 sq.ft. building to the New Jersey Repertory Company, located in the heart of Long Branch. The Broadway corridor has been selected by the Mayor’s administration as a primary site for the redevelopment of Long Branch. The New Jersey Repertory Company hopes to help re-establish pride in this once dynamic downtown area, as well as contribute to the revitalization of the community. Long Branch is a city with a long history, where entertainment and the arts once flourished. The broad range of programs offered by the New Jersey Repertory Company will play an integral role in the artistic renaissance of the community.
