“A Voice of My Own” at Carnival Productions

“A Voice of My Own”
by Elinor Jones

Inspired by--and often using--the words of 24 female authors, from Sappho to the present day, this play is described as a collage for voices. Spanning 26 centuries, it pays tribute not only to these particular women and their ability to achieve success in the face of prejudice and adversity, but to the indomitability of all of womankind in general.
