The story of a group of black idealists struggling to make their dreams come true as the Great Depression marks the end of the Harlem Renaissance. A passionate tribute to the sights, sounds, and spirit of the Harlem Renaissance, this drama from Pearl Cleage (Flyin' West) is populated with a vividly drawn cast of artists, activists and oridinary floks surviving and flourishing in the Depression era-America.
