“Daughters” at Monmouth Players

“Daughters”
by John Morgan Evans

“Daughters” is a comedy-drama set in Brooklyn. Four generations of women gather in the DiAngelo family’s kitchen while the patriarch of the clan is ill off-stage. Very different women sort through old hurts, issues of treatment for the father, and other family entanglements. Written by Brooklyn native John Morgan Evans, the play is a realistic slice of life.

There is plenty of humor and a little off-color language thrown in to keep the levity and capture the flavor of ethnic Brooklyn.
