“The Rainmaker” at Villagers Theatre

“The Rainmaker”
by N. Richard Nash

In this corn fed romantic comedy, a poetry scam artist arrives on a Western ranch claiming he can conjure up rain. But the land isn't the only thing that is dry. The rancher has a spinster daughter he cannot marry off -- that is, until the rainmaker uses his special powers to convince the lady she's got what it takes to win her man.
