Q Biography

You may remember Quienzell from West Side Story where he played Anxious or perhaps as Yeoman Herbert Quale in South. He makes his SMSTC debut tonight as Choreographer. Quienzell received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Rutgers University where his majors were dance, statistics/mathematics. Since graduating, Quienzell has studied with both the Princeton Ballet and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. He has worked with Acrodance Theater and Premiere Dance Theater performing the works of Claudia Gitelman, André Tyson, Freddie Moore, Fred Benjamin and Tally Beaty. Currently, Quienzell works as a Math Instructor at Woodbridge High School and as a Dance Instructor at Da-Dees School of Dance in Perth Amboy.
