Jason Mitchell Biography

Jason is thrilled to be returning to Surflight after performing here two summers ago. Jason has just graduated with a B.F.A. in Music Theatre from New World School of the Arts in Miami where he performed in City of Angels (Stone), Six Characters in Search of an Author (Director), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Bazzard), The Marriage of Figaro (Bazile), the Kitchen (Max) and Cabaret (Bobby). He also completed his senior thesis, entitled The Meaning of Chai, a one-person show that he wrote, directed, and acted in telling the story of a Holocaust survivor reliving his past. Other favorite credits include Brighton Beach Memoirs (Eugene), Oliver! (Artful Dodger), Threepenny Opera (Tiger Brown), and Once Upon a Mattress (King Sextimus).
