Nick DeFilippo Biography

Nick is very happy to be making his CT debut in Sayreville. He has been a songwriter/musician for about 17 years and has been in bands in Bayonne and Old Bridge, NJ. He would like to thank the entire cast, band and all that had a hand in getting this show up. In particular, Jim, for having the creative vision of writing this script and incorporating his songs. The songs you are about to hear were written over a span of about 10 years. Although, some of the songs were altered to better fit the characters, Nick's songs come from real life experiences and captures what he was feeling at that particular time in his life. Although, it may seem brutal at times, the songs are honest and true. He would also like to recognize Trent, for taking on the job as director and doing such a great job. The entire cast for working with me. I learned just as much, if not more, while working along side of everyone. Thanks for giving my songs new life, with all of your ideas and suggestions! A special thanks and much love to Jeannette, my Spanish Girl, who put up with tense times during this entire production. All of these songs are for you tonight. And thanks again to the entire cast for making this project into a reality. I'm very proud of EVERYONE!!!
