has been involved in professional theatre for many years and has performed over 40 operatic, operetta and musical comedy roles. Jane has appeared on Broadway, in US regional companies and in South America. She has also staged managed and produced a number of musical theatre productions. Jane moved to Ringwood in February 2000 and was fortunate to be reunited with an old summer stock buddy, Kerry Soloway, the current president of Iron Mountain Stage Company. Jane was the director for the 2002-2003 season IMSC production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit and stage manager and co-producer in the 2001-2002 for IMSC's production of A.R. Gurney's Sylvia. Jane graduated from the Eastman School of Music and also studied at the Salzburg Mozarteum in Austria. She studied acting at Columbia University and for a number of years took classes with Frank Corsaro, a prominent New York City Opera director who now heads the Juilliard Opera Theatre. In the 1980s, Jane was the general manager of The Broque Opera, a small ensemble company that produced shows locally in Manhattan and toured the US presenting original operas for children.
