Kurt Elftmann Biography

Kurt has performed in a broad spectrum of classical, contemporary and musical theater pieces, working with such talents as Joanne Woodward, Cy Coleman and the late Joe Layton, among others. In venues that vary from Off-Broadway to regional, he has performed and/or created such diverse and challenging roles as Judas (Godspell), Trigorin (The Seagull) and Gregor Samsa (‘silent’ metamorphosis). He has also had the privilege of being a member of two award-winning ensembles (The Three Sisters and Wonderful Tennessee), both garnering OOBRs, and several fine acting companies, which at this point include Blue Light Theatre Company, Expanded Arts and the newly-formed New Jersey Repertory Company.
