has orchestrated a great many shows, on Broadway and off, in a career dating to the 1970s. His credits include Anything Goes, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Woman of the Year, and 21 consecutive Christmas shows at Radio City Music Hall. He has received two Tony® nominations (for Cabaret and Steel Pier) and was voted the Drama Desk Award for My One and Only. His orchestration of the film Grease earned him a platinum album. For symphony orchestra, Mr. Gibson has arranged and orchestrated suites from Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman, along with an entire evening of the works of Duke Ellington to mark the imminent Ellington centennial. He is currently working on You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown coming into New York.
