Kate Schlesinger started acting at age five as a bluebell in the garden in
"Alice in Wonderland". In her teens and 20s she spent seven years acting
at The Cleveland Playhouse. Later roles include Mrs. Robinson in The
Graduate at Summit Stageworks, Miss Lucy in "Sweet Bird of Youth" at The
New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and Doris in "Same Time Next Year" at the
Bickford. In 1996 she received Best Actress in a Reoccuring Role as Helene
Haniff in "84 Charing Cross Road" and in 1997 Best Comic Actress as the
Mother in "Brutality of Fact" at 12 Miles West from the Star Ledger. In
addition Kate has performed numerously on the soap operas All My Children
and The Guiding Light. Kate holds a Master Degree in Theatre Education
from NYU.
