Although recently working primarily as a director, David's current project puts him on the boards, again. He is starring in a production of "BARRYMORE" (as John Barrymore), which has been seen at The Bickford Theater, and will open their 2003-2004 season. In recent years he has directed several plays at Plays-in-the-Park, in Edison, including "West Side Story", "My Fair Lady", "Hello, Dolly! and "Oliver" . At the Bickford Theater, in Morristown, he directed "Sylvia, "The Subject Was Roses", "Deathtrap" and "That Championship Season". He also directed "Morning's at Seven" at the Bickford, for which he was nominated for Best Director of a Comedy, by Peter Felichia. His production of "Pride and Prejudice" at Chatham Players, garnered him a Perry Nomination for Best director of a Comedy. PIP audiences have also seen him on stage in such roles as Jonathan (Arsenic and Old Lace"), Frederik, ("A Little Night Music") and Capt. Hook, ("Peter Pan"), Other plays he is proud of directing are "The Cocktail Hour" (Edison Valley Playhouse), "The Fifth of July" (N.J. Public Theater), and "Jake's Women" (in which he also starred, at The Acting Studio).
