Having gotten his start at the Tony-winning South Coast Repertory, Daren has played some of his favorite roles in regional theatre: Manders in Ghosts, Lovborg opposite Harriet Harris's Hedda Gabler, Stockman in Enemy of the People with Howard Witt, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Harold Hill in Music Man, Ivanov in Chekhov's Ivanov, Barrymore in I Hate Hamlet, and Atticus in To Kill a Mockingbird. He has performed on stages from Maine to Alaska and from Florida to California. He also toured Germany, Switzerland, and most of the U.S. as Lank in Crazy For You and has also toured with Richard Kiley, Sada Thompson, Barbara Bel Geddes, Tammy Grimes, and Samuel E. (Lion King) Wright. On television he has been featured on "Law and Order," "M.A.S.H.," "Kate and Allie," "Tales from the Dark Side," and has had recurring roles on "All My Children," "As The World Turns," and "Loving."
