Already a professional NY actress at age 7, Debbie’s credits include numerous commercials, soap operas (The Edge of Night and As The World Turns), television dramas (Hallmark Hall of Fame’s The Tempest with Richard Burton and Sir Lawrence Olivier, Play of the Week with Red Buttons and Jack Carson), the Walt Disney movie, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, with Kurt Russell, and a Broadway Show, The Porcelain Years, with Arthur Hill, Barbara Bel Geddes and Martin Balsam.  Debbie also starred in the original television series, Mr. Belvedere, with Victor Borge, and danced the leading role of Clara in the New York City Ballet Company’s The Nutcracker for four years.  More recently, Debbie has focused on her own companies, The Children’s Workshop (where she directed such plays as The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Charlotte’s Web, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and A Dragon’s Tale) and the WCRC (where she’s headed up Some Like It Hot - The Musical, A Dragon’s Tale and Goin’ Buggy).  This season Debbie will be directing a new production of Christmas Pageant and a musical telling of Cinderella, both at Kelsey Theatre.
