heralds from Houston TX where she was seen at The Ensemble Theatre in such productions as Flyin' West, For Colored Girls.., Eden, Checkmates and The Piano Lesson at The Alley Theatre where she was seen in such productions as From the Mississippi Delta, The Crucible, Antony and Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and A Christmas Carol. NY credits include the one-woman show Ida B. Wells, Julius Caesar and Sister Rabbit Takes Harlem. Other credits include North Seventeenth Street, Venture Theatre; Crow and Weasel and The Icarus Box at People's Light in Philadelphia. Last summer she had the privilege of playing Tessie in the premiere of John Wooten's Uncivil War. She has made her mark as a director having directed such productions as The Wiz, Can't Touch This!, Fences, A Raisin in the Sun, Sing a Christmas Song and The People Could Fly. Alice is also a member of the Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab.
