Brian A. Bara

was most recently seen on stage playing Mr. Mister in Chalkdust’s production of The Cradle Will Rock. Prior to that, he played Louis XIV as host and narrator of Family Fanfare for the NYC Ballet at Lincoln Center, a role he created and has performed for the last three seasons. He has also appeared on stage with such companies as Westwind Repertory; Black Sheep Theatre; Like40 Productions and Princeton Summer Theatre, to name a few. An actor; director; designer; producer and technician on stages in NY, NJ and PA for over 25 years, Brian’s previous directorial credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Much Ado About Nothing; Romeo & Juliet; The Nerd; and The Odd Couple (Female Version), among others. Brian is Executive Director of Drama*Works School of Performing Arts in Yardley, PA, where he also teaches acting to teens and adults. He is currently seeking a producer for his screenplay, Chimera and will next be seen in Chalkdust’s production of Musical! The Musical.
