Cindy Smith Biography

She was nominated for a Perry Award for best choreography in a New Jersey Community Theatre production for her work in the Cranford Repertory Theatre production of “Fiddler on the Roof”. Cindy has directed and owned her own dance studio for over 40 years, with locations in Cranford and Garwood. She has choreographed for numerous high school and middle schools, such as Johnathan Dayton, Pingry High School, Veronia High School, Westfield Summer Workshop and the Cranford Dramatic Club. She has choreographed several Cranford Repertory Theater productions such as “Godspell”, “Once Upon A Mattress”, “Anything Goes”, “Wizard of Oz” and “Fiddler on the Roof”. Cindy Smith is the former director of “Stagestruck Kids” performing arts camp and is currently the director of “Stars of Tomorrow” performing arts camp.
