Jenni Schwaner Biography

is pleased to return as costume designer for her second season as SUMMERFUN's costume designer. Ms. Schwaner has just completed the M.F.A. costume design program at the University of Illinois, where she also earned her M.A. in theater history in 1996. In addition to her studies, she worked as the costume rentals assistant at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. Ms. Schwaner has designed and coordinated costumes for many shows, including On the Verge at the University of Missouri; Dracula, Tea and China Doll at the Ul Armory Free Theater; and Six Women with Brain Death and The Tempest at the Station Theater of Urbana, Illinois. Her most recent design work was The Pirates of Penzance for the Illinois Repertory Theater.
