Rosemary Hobgood Biography

adds Carnival! to the list of some 58 other musicals she has choreographed. She majored in Theater at Kean University, where she met director Chris Arena. They have collaborated on a number of projects. She comes to this Princeton Opera production after a 10-year hiatus from musical theatre. She is the director of the 65-voice choir of Saint Ann's Church in Lawrenceville, a position she has held for the last sixteen years. In 1994 she conducted her choir in Rome, Florence, Assisi and Venice, Italy. The choir, having John Paul II at audience, was selected to sing for the Papal Mass on the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul at the Vatican. 2001 will find her conducting her choir in various cities in France. In real life, Rosemary is a tour manager for the world-renowned American Boychoir of Princeton. She resides in Hopewell with her two children, Ashley and Bryan.
