John Steber Biography

has directed in New York at HERE, Ensemble Studio Theatre, West Bank, CAP 21 Theatre, Blackjacks Festival, The Present Company, and The BASIC Theatre. He has directed staged readings for Playwrights Horizons and New York Theatre Workshop and was a member of the 1996 Lincoln Center Theatre Director's Lab. In NewJersey he has directed for The Passage Theatre and The Garage Theatre Group. He is on staff serving as a director/dramaturg for Shenandoah International Playwrights Retreat in Staunton, VA and also directs live industrials. John is a member of the Usual Suspects at New York Theatre Workshop, and an associate member of the SSDC.
