A Tony and Drama Desk Award winner for Tommy Tune’s Nine and Tony Nominee for Grand Hotel, Liliane last appeared in Paper Mill’s Gigi. Parisian-born, she became a prima ballerina in Roland Petit’s Company at 18. MGMsoon whisked her to Hollywood, where she co-starred with Fred Astaire, Marlon Brando, Danny Kaye, and Elvis, among others. She was the star of the "Folies Bergere" for nine years, appeared in France with the Comedie Francaise and as the star of Hello, Dolly! and Irma La Douce. Other New York credits include Gotta Get Away at Radio City Music Hall, Follies (in concert) at Lincoln Center, and her one-woman show, On The Boulevard, which she has performed all over the world. Knighted by the Knights of Malta for her humanitarian work, Ms. Montevecchi is now a Dame.
