Peter Pucci Biography

Peter is the director/choreographer of Pucci Plus Dancers and the recent production of PUCCI: SPORT. Mr. Pucci’s stage credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Fool for Love and The Learned Ladies at McCarter Theatre; Camino Real at Hartford Stage Company; The Merry Wives of Windsor and Twelfth Night at The Shakespeare Theatre; Samson and Delilah at Baltimore Opera; and Eyes of Consuela at Manhattan Theatre Club. A principal dancer and co-choreographer with Pilobolus Dance Theatre for nine years, Mr. Pucci has choreographed for the Joffrey Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Ballet Arizona and Pittsburgh Ballet. He has also choreographed for Jim Henson’s Bear in the Big Blue House on The Disney Channel. A two-time winner of the Choo-San Goh Award for Choreography (1993 and 1998), Mr. Pucci is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
