Christopher Bishop

is the composer author of four regionally produced musicals, including a critically acclaimed treatment of Hugo’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame in which he appeared as Quasimodo. He is the producing artistic director of the Shores Performing Arts Theatre in Miami and has appeared in recent years as Littlechap in Stop The World . . . , El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Kolinski in Show Me Where The Good Times Are, and Uncle Oscar in Little Mary Sunshine. He recently closed a long run as Gerardo in Death and the Maiden at the Coconut Grove Playhouse, where he earlier created the role of Tilson in the Jimmy Buffet/Herman Wouk musical Don’t Stop The Carnival. Other favorite roles include Starbuck (The Rainmaker), J. Pierpont (How to Succeed .. .), Petruchio (Kiss Me Kate),  and The Emcee (Cabaret).  Mr. Bishop is scheduled this year to direct regional productions of Dames At Sea, Pippin, South Pacific, and Lies and Legends
