Michael Krass Biography

Old Globe Theatre: Overtime, Pilgrims, Full Gallop, Interior Decoration, Breaking Up, and The School for Husbands. Broadway: The View from the Bridge and The Rehearsal (Drama Desk nomination, Nicholas Martin, Director). National tours: Angels in America, Driving Miss Daisy (including original production), the upcoming Full Gallop. Off-Broadway: Entertaining Mr. Sloane (Drama Desk nomination), Madhouse in Goa, Full Gallop, Oblivion Postponed, Overtime, Sophistry, all directed by Nicholas Martin. He has also designed for the Manhattan Theatre Club, CSC, Playwrights Horizon, and many others. Regional: His work includes Berkeley Repertory, Goodspeed, Louisville, Hangar Theatre, and Williamstown. Mr. Krass heads the design program at the NYU/Playwrights Horizons Theatre School.
