Heather Crawford Biography

is an elementary teacher at P.S. #2 in Paterson. She is the Founder, Director, and Choreographer of the Linden Mayor’s Youth Commission Theatre Arts Workshop for 8-12 yr. Olds. She has a BA from Rutgers and while there was a dance major at Mason Gross School of the Arts. During that time she choreographed Fiddler on the Roof for the Scotch Plains Players, played “Laurie” in Oklahoma with the Theatre Guild of Old Bridge, and appeared in Baby at Seton Hall. Heather was, also, active in LSP productions and played such roles as “Susan” in Finian’s Rainbow, “Irene Malloy” in Hello Dolly, and “The Baker” and Lead Dancer in Joseph…. Recently she appeared in MVP’s productions of Joseph… and as “Doris” in Damn Yankees. She currently performs with Celebration Singers. Heather would like to thank her husband, Larry and their children, Amanda and Matthew, for all of their patience and understanding in mommy’s absence the past few months. I LOVE YOU!!!
