Originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey, she has performed throughout the New York metropolitan area in such shows as A Christmas Carol, A Streetcar Named Desire, Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Mother Courage, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Woolgatherer, The Crucible Diary of Anne Frank Educating Rita, and Six Characters in Search of an Author. She has performed on television's All My Children, Loving. Central Park West, and Guiding Light. She attended Kean College and is presently studying philosophy at St. Paces College in Jersey City. Ms. MacNamara cofounded and currently serves as managing director of Working Girls Production, a theater company dedicated to great American works that highlight The experiences of women and the world around them. She is a horseback riding enthusiast and enjoys relaxing with her crew of pets, and her special love, Charles Reiner.
