began her professional career at the Paper Mill choreographing their successful Jesus Christ Superstar, Sayonara, Roar of the Greasepaint, Shenandoah, and Rhythm Ranch. For Broadway: Crazy For You (Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics’ Circle Award), Show Boat (Tony Award), Big, Steel Pier, and Picnic. Off-Broadway: And The World Goes ’Round (Outer Critics’ Circle Award) and Flora The Red Menace. She choreographed Liza — Stepping Out at Radio City Music Hall starring Liza Minnelli. For NYCO: 110 In The Shade, Don Giovanni, and A Little Night Music. Ms. Stroman choreographed the annual spectacular event A Christmas Carol for MSG. She won the Laurence Olivier Award for Crazy For You in London and was just honored with the Olivier Award for her choreography of the Royal National Theatre’s production of Oklahoma! Her ballet for the Martha Graham Company, But Not For Me, just had a successful season at the Joyce Theater in New York. Ms. Stroman’s new ballet for the New York City Ballet’s 50th Anniversary celebration will be seen this spring. Most recently, she directed and developed a new show with writer John Weidman called Contact, commissioned by Lincoln Center.
