began his theatrical career as a scholarship student at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), where his classmates included Sarah Miles, Tom Courtney, David Warner, and John Hurt. On Broadway, Mr. Linville appeared with Ingrid Bergman, Arthur Hill, and Colleen Dewhurst in Eugene O’Neill’s More Stately Mansions, and in John Osborne’s Inadmissible Evidence starring Nicol Williamson. Recent appearances include Neil Simon’s Rumors on Broadway and Graham Green’s Travel With My Aunt Off-Broadway. After various television and feature film appearances, Mr. Linville was offered the role of Major Frank Burns on the television series "MAS*H," and his portrayal has become a modern comedy classic. Last season, Mr. Linville was featured in the Showtime Series "Fast Track." Most recently, he has become the television voice-over for several multinational corporations. Larry and his wife Deborah live in Manhattan.
