Wanda Toro Biography

Wanda has been an "actress" since she can remember...including the days where she played dead to get a rise out of her mother and faked spiritual trances to freak out her friends at sleep overs. (Hee...hee...) She is happy to keep performing in her life, as much as possible, in leiu of her crazy schedule. When not on stage Wanda proudly works for Novartis Pharmaceuticals on the Gleevec marketing team. Favorite roles include: Eva Peron in Evita, Audrey in Little Shop, Narrator in Joseph... and Violet in Side Show. Wanda can also be seen across the metropolitan area performing in various children's productions with Michael Taubenslag Productions. Characters range from Ariel in Little Mermaid, and the title roles in Snow White and Pocahontas to some rather zany characters in Hercules, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. Other credits include: Gypsy, Pirates of Penzance, Bells Are Ringing, various cabaret productions and more.
