Betty DeMonic Biography

Gypsy marks Betty’s debut with MVP, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to play this challenging role. Musical Theatre/Drama…”Mother Abbess” in The Sound of Music, “The Leader” in Zorba, “Nettie” in Carousel, and “The Mother” in David and Lisa. In real life, Betty has a Master’s Degree in Music Ed./Voice from West Virginia University and is Choral Music/Musical Theatre/Drama Director at Franklin HS in Somerset. She thanks her best friend, her husband, Jim, for his unending support and help with this and all her theatrical endeavors.
